FDU Knights are a proud member of NCAA Division I athletics, competing in the Northeast Conference (NEC) for most sports, except for football which competes in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) at the NCAA Division I level, and field hockey, which competes in the Big East Conference (BEC).
