WHY QIQI IS BAD
We all know the little darling Qiqi, the precious zombie girl who roams the plains of Liyue. But are we really seeing the whole picture? Is Qiqi really as good of a character as we make her out to be? I've decided to dive into the character and tell you all the raw truth about Qiqi, the pros and cons, and why I think she's actually not the best character in Genshin Impact.
Qiqi’s Skills and Abilities
Qiqi is a Cryo character in Genshin Impact. She uses an ice sword in battle, and her skills and abilities have the potential to be devastating. Her elemental blast, Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune, summons a talisman that heals nearby characters and damages enemies. But don't be fooled by the seemingly powerful description. Using her elemental blast means Qiqi will continuously revive fallen enemies with a certain amount of health. This can be incredibly frustrating when you're trying to clear out a group of enemies, only to have them all come back to life.
Qiqi's constellations are a mixed bag. Her first constellation, Rite of Resurrection, is considered one of the worst constellations in the game. It increases the number of times Qiqi can revive enemies with her elemental burst. This is the opposite of what you want Qiqi to do, as it makes it even harder to clear out enemies. Constellations like Frozen Dusk, Everlasting Moonglow, and Divine Locket are all lackluster and offer minimal benefits.
Qiqi’s Healing Capabilities
Qiqi is known for her healing capabilities. Her skill, Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost, heals the active character and applies the Cryo element to them. But the healing isn't as strong as you might think. Other characters like Sangonomiya Kokomi offer much stronger healing, making Qiqi's healing abilities rather underwhelming.
Qiqi’s Energy Recharge
One of Qiqi's biggest drawbacks is her slow energy recharge. She has a very high energy cost for her elemental burst, and it takes a long time for her to build it up. This means that you won't be able to use her burst very often, which limits her effectiveness in battle.
Alternatives to Qiqi
If you're looking for a healer in Genshin Impact, there are much better options than Qiqi. Sangonomiya Kokomi, Diona, and Bennett are all great healers with better abilities, stronger healing, and more utility. They don't suffer from the same drawbacks as Qiqi, making them much more reliable and effective in battle.
Overall, Qiqi is not a bad character. But she's not the best healer in Genshin Impact, and she has several drawbacks that make her less effective than other characters. If you're looking for a healer, I recommend choosing another character like Kokomi, Diona, or Bennett instead.
